Meet the Team

A small team, doing this the honest way. Here's who runs the referral side, how we vet contractors, and how to reach a person.

The Humans Running This

Baton Rouge Septic is a small operation. Right now, that means one person handling the homeowner side of the inbox — reading every quote request that comes in, matching it to a contractor in the right parish, and following up. If you email us, you get a person, not an autoresponder.

What We Actually Do Day to Day

The work is not glamorous. It looks like this:

  • Reading the quote requests as they come in and figuring out what kind of problem the homeowner actually has (a lot of "smell in the yard" tickets turn out to be pumping problems, not drain field problems).
  • Matching the ticket to a contractor in the right parish with the right specialty and current availability.
  • Following up a few days later — did they show up on time, was the quote reasonable, did anything feel off.
  • Updating the contractor list when someone starts getting repeat complaints, or leaves the industry, or has a license lapse.
  • Writing and updating the guide content on this site so it stays honest and stays local.

The Contractor Side of the Network

The people doing the actual septic work are independent Louisiana-licensed contractors. They are not employees of Baton Rouge Septic. When we send you a contractor, we've verified:

  1. Current Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors (LSLBC) license, in the correct classification for the work you need.
  2. Current general liability insurance.
  3. No open unresolved complaints in our own file for the last twelve months.
  4. Local presence — they actually work in your parish, not two hundred miles away.

If a contractor stops meeting those, they come out of the referral rotation until it's fixed.

What We Are Not

We are not a call center. We are not a national lead broker. We are not a private equity roll-up of septic companies. We are a small local site trying to be the honest layer between Baton Rouge homeowners and the actual crews doing the work. If we get big enough to grow the team, we'll add real names here.

Reaching a Human

Fastest: the quote form. Email works too: quotes@batonrougeseptic.com. If you want to give feedback on a contractor we sent you — good or bad — that email is where it should go, and it will be read.
