Who we are
Baton Rouge Septic is a local septic service for East Baton Rouge, Livingston, Ascension and West Baton Rouge Parishes. We handle the jobs a Louisiana septic system throws at you: pumping, tank and drain field repair, aerobic unit service, new installations, and the inspection you need when a house changes hands. The work is done by Louisiana-licensed septic crews, and every job comes with a written quote before anything gets dug.
How a job works
Call (225) 325-0340 or send the quote form. Tell us what you're seeing: slow drains, a wet patch over the field, an alarm on the aerobic unit, or a pumping that's overdue. We'll ask a few questions about the house and the system, then get a licensed crew out to look at it. You get a written scope and price before any work starts, and asking for a quote doesn't commit you to anything.
Why local matters here
Septic in Louisiana is different from septic in most of the country. Our clay soils don't perc the way sandy soils do. Our water table is high enough that a lot of properties can't gravity-drain a conventional system. Our summers are hot enough that the biology inside a tank runs faster than it does up north. That's why national pricing guides, national "how often to pump" advice and national drain-field lifespan numbers are usually wrong for us — and the difference between right and wrong is often five figures. Our cost guide uses Baton Rouge numbers.
What you can expect
Straight answers about cost before you commit. A written quote, not a number over the phone that changes on site. Permits handled properly with the parish health unit. And if your problem is urgent — sewage backing up, an alarm sounding, water where it shouldn't be — say so when you call and it goes to the front of the line.
