Financing Partner Disclosure

How financing works when you ask us about monthly payment options — and how we get paid.

Effective date: July 18, 2026

The short version

Baton Rouge Septic is not a lender, a bank, a credit union, or a mortgage broker. When you ask us about monthly payment options for a septic project, we introduce you to independent third-party lenders — currently including MoneyLion Engine and other lending partners — who may present loan offers you qualify for. The lenders make all credit decisions, not us. We may receive compensation for the referral. All loan terms come from the lender, and everything is subject to their approval.

Who the lenders are

We work with a rotating set of third-party lenders and lending marketplaces, including MoneyLion Engine and its network of lending partners, and other independent home-improvement and personal-loan lenders. Each lender is a separate business, licensed and regulated in the states where it operates. Their names, license numbers, and terms are provided to you at the time an offer is presented. We are not affiliated with any lender other than through referral relationships.

What Baton Rouge Septic does and does not do

What we do

What we do not do

How credit checks work

Depending on the lending partner and the stage of the application, a credit check may be:

Each lender will disclose the type of credit check before it runs, and you must consent before it happens. Being introduced to a lender does not by itself trigger a credit check.

How we are paid

We may receive compensation from lending partners for referrals, applications, and funded loans. Compensation may be per lead, per completed application, per funded loan, or a combination. This compensation does not increase your rate or fees, does not come out of your loan proceeds, and does not affect whether the lender approves your loan.

We also may receive compensation from contractor partners when a referral results in a booked appointment or a completed job. See the Contractor Disclaimer.

Loan terms, rates, and approvals

Loan amounts, interest rates, APR, fees, term lengths, monthly payment amounts, and eligibility requirements are set solely by the lender and depend on the lender’s underwriting criteria, current market conditions, and your individual financial profile. Terms shown in advertising or on our site are examples only. Actual terms available to you may be higher or lower and may not be available at all. Past availability of any term does not guarantee future availability.

Your responsibilities

Before you accept any loan offer, please:

You are not obligated to accept any loan offer, and you are free to walk away at any point up to signing the loan agreement.

Truth in Lending Act

All lenders in our network are expected to comply with the federal Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and applicable state consumer-credit laws. Written loan disclosures are provided by the lender, not by Baton Rouge Septic.

Complaints and disputes

Disputes about a specific loan, including servicing, fees, or credit reporting, should be raised with the lender directly. You may also contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) at consumerfinance.gov/complaint or the Louisiana Office of Financial Institutions at ofi.la.gov. If you feel the referral process itself was misleading, email quotes@batonrougeseptic.com and we will look into it.
