Baton Rouge Septic is a marketing and referral service. We do not install, replace, pump, inspect, repair, or otherwise service septic systems ourselves. We publish homeowner guides, cost information, and service pages about septic issues, and we connect Greater Baton Rouge homeowners with independent, licensed Louisiana septic contractors who perform the actual work.

When you hire a contractor introduced through our website, your contract for services is with that contractor — not with Baton Rouge Septic.

What we are

No guarantee of work performed by referred contractors

We take reasonable steps to identify contractors who represent themselves as licensed and insured in Louisiana. However, we do not vet, employ, supervise, direct, or control referred contractors, and we make no warranty, express or implied, regarding:

• The quality, workmanship, timeliness, or safety of work performed by a referred contractor
• Pricing quoted by a referred contractor
• License, bonding, or insurance status on any given day
• Warranty or callback terms offered by a referred contractor
• Compliance with parish and Louisiana Department of Health permit and inspection requirements

We are not liable for any act or omission of a referred contractor, or for any dispute between you and a referred contractor. Any warranty on materials or workmanship comes from the contractor, not from us.

In Louisiana, most septic system installation, repair, and drain field work requires a state contractor’s license. Before you sign a contract or make a deposit, please verify the contractor’s license and status directly with the state:
