Contractor Applications

For licensed Louisiana septic contractors who want to be part of the referral network. Here's what we look for, what we don't, and how to apply.

Applications From Licensed Louisiana Septic Contractors

We're building the network of contractors we refer homeowners to across East Baton Rouge, Livingston, Ascension, and West Baton Rouge Parishes. If you're a licensed Louisiana septic contractor and want to be considered, this is the page.

Who We're Looking For

  • Current Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors (LSLBC) license in the appropriate classification (septic installer, drain field, aerobic, or pumping — whichever fits your operation).
  • Current general liability insurance.
  • Actual local presence in one or more of the parishes we cover. We're not looking for statewide operators who fly a truck two hours to a call.
  • A track record — even a small one — of doing the work honestly. If you've been doing this for six months, that's fine. If you've been doing it for thirty years, that's also fine. What we care about is how you talk to homeowners and how you write up a scope.

Who We're Not Looking For

  • Anyone whose sales process depends on scaring homeowners into same-day decisions.
  • Anyone who does unpermitted installation work or "off the books" tank replacements.
  • Anyone with an active DEQ or L-DHH enforcement action open against them.
  • Anyone who can't or won't give homeowners itemized written quotes.

None of this is personal. The referral network only works if the average homeowner has a good experience — one bad crew burns dozens of leads for everybody else.

How the Referral Relationship Works

  1. Homeowner submits a quote request on this site.
  2. We match it to one to three contractors in the right parish with the right specialty.
  3. You contact the homeowner, do a site visit, provide an itemized written estimate. Same as any other lead source.
  4. You pay a modest per-lead or per-close fee — we discuss the specifics when we onboard you, and it's tailored to the service line and your parish.
  5. We follow up with the homeowner a few days later to make sure the process felt honest.

If the follow-up starts turning up patterns — pressure sales, missed appointments, quotes that don't match final invoices — we pause the referral relationship and talk about it. We're not looking to police anyone; we are looking to keep the trust of the homeowner side of this equation, because without it there's no business.

How to Apply

Email us at quotes@batonrougeseptic.com with:

  • Business name and LSLBC license number.
  • Parishes you actively work in.
  • Service lines you cover (installation, pumping, drain field, tank repair, aerobic, inspections — any combination).
  • A sample itemized quote you've given a real homeowner (redact anything you need to).
  • Two homeowner references from the last twelve months.

We'll review it, verify the license, and get back to you within a few business days. If it's a fit, we onboard. If it's not right now, we say so directly and tell you why.
